We continuously work on improving the FieldPro (ex-Smala) application, so as to deliver more value to you / your team(s) in their day-to-day usage of the solution. In regards to this, we deploy new versions of the FieldPro Mobile and WebApp hence request the team to update the version in order to use the latest App version.
We have two ways of updating the App;

1. Through the Play Store.

  • Click on the play store App on your Mobile

  • On the search box at the top of the play store, type in FieldPro (one word)

  • Click on the search icon on your Phones keyboard

2. Through FieldPro notification panel

FieldPro Mobile users are notified of a new version of the App through the notification panel of the Mobile App, to update;

  • Click on the notification bell at the top right to be redirected to the panel

  • Once on the notification page, you will see the new version notification

  • Click on the download section (Yellow bar) to be redirected to the Play store

  • Once in the Play store click on update and wait for it to be downloaded

  • Once done, click on open and start using the App

Always ensure you have a good / active internet connection before you update your application.
