Manage Mobile Users
This page lists all the operations that can be done to manage mobile users on the system through the web application.
Create a user
Start by clicking on the user section in the left menu. Select the type of user (Mobile) at the top left.

Click on the plus (+) button at the top right of the screen. Input all the registration details. Phone numbers must start with the international prefix. For example, +254XXXX for Kenya.
Assign it to one or several teams directly.
Once created, you will see the user information details, as well as the number of teams she/he belongs to.
Here are the available fields to create a user.

Click on the license button at the bottom to license the user directly

Unique Login
It is possible to define (in the client configuration) whether each mobile user can be logged in only once. To do this, tick the option “Unique login”.
If this option is enabled, only one mobile user with this mobile phone will be able to log in. If another mobile user tries to login with the same phone number, his login connection will be rejected. If the same mobile user logs out and tries to log back in, a web user needs to allow him/her to log in again by clicking on “Unlock login” on the user information page.
To enable a web user role to have the right to unlock a mobile user, grant him the role “Unlock Login” in the role management page.
Cheat code for the mobile user to log in on the app
Normally, the mobile user receives a One Time Password to input when logging in. The other alternative is to use a defined cheat code in the client configuration panel to allow any user to access a user account.
Web users are able to define Regex rules in the phone number field for mobile users. This is found in the client settings. This ensures that the right number format is observed. i.e the right country code and the correct count of the number. +2567xxxxxx57

Define and assign roles for mobile users
Roles can be defined in the client configuration. A role is used to determine which dashboards a mobile user can view on his mobile app. When creating a dashboard, you can select the mobile user roles to determine who can see it.
Edit a mobile user
Simply click on the pencil icon at the right to edit the information.

License / Unlicense a mobile user
To assign or remove a license to a mobile user, click on the toggle button in the licensed column.

Or you can select the mobile users on the left, and click on Attach or Detach License.

If the user belongs to a team, unlicensing will remove him from his/her team. A pop up message will appear , then follow the prompt. The user will also be automatically logged out of the app when they sync.
A user without a license cannot be assigned to a team
Delete a mobile user
Click on the delete icon, then type the name of the user to confirm the deletion.

You cannot delete a licensed user.
View mobile user in a list
In the mobile user's section, you can view the mobile users with the following fields:
Unique ID (system generated) - To view this click on edit pen
Name (First, + Middle + Last name)
Any other ID fields that are filled
Phone number
Team Nb: the number of teams the user belongs to
Licensed: toggle showing if the user has a license or not
Role: the role of the user as defined in the client settings
Application version: the mobile app version he is using
Last synchro: when was the app last synchronized with master sync (loading of all the lists, etc)

You can view the history of the submission for a user by clicking on the MORE icon along the user details. A page showing dates and workflows filled will open. By clicking on MORE, you will see the submission in detail. As demonstrated below:


Search a mobile user
You can search a mobile user on any of the information of his profile. Type in the search box to find him/her.
Filter mobile users by Team, Team Label, Team Level
You can filter the mobile users as per the team they belong to, by using the filters option on the top left of the banner. You can also select the Team Label or Level to pick all the teams matching this filter.

Download the list of mobile users in Excel or CSV format
In the Users section, by clicking on the download arrow, you will obtain an excel & CSV file with all the columns of the profile of the users and four additional:
Licensed: True or False
Team ID: the ID of the team the mobile user belongs to
Team name: the name of the team the mobile user belongs to
App version: the current version of the app used by a user
Last synchro: The last time the user synchronized/used the app

Create mobile users in bulk
To create multiple users with the same operation, go to the three dots action panel, select “Bulk create mobile users” and upload the information as per the template provided.

Edit mobile users in bulk
To edit multiple users with the same operation, go to the three dots action panels, select “Bulk edit mobile users” and upload the information as per the template provided.
Delete mobile users in bulk
To delete multiple users with the same operation, go to the three dots action panels, select “Bulk edit mobile users” and upload the information as per the template provided.
Every operation has its own defined template
Attach /remove license to mobile users in bulk
To add or remove the license to multiple users with the same operation, go to the three dots action panels, select “Bulk edit mobile users” and upload the information as per the template provided. Just update the license column with True or False to change the license status.
